Hey I'm Julia, browse my art!
I spend my free time creating works of art (this is obvious) that are sometimes pretty dang awesome. I focus mainly on drawing and sketching, but dabble in photography and more traditional forms of art (acrylic painting, watercolor, scratchboard, etc.). I'm soon hoping to bridge into the more digital realm of art in photoshop and illustrator, but I am currently without any Adobe programs presently. I am 16 so I'm not currently employed or am a freelance artist, but I do have big plans for the future. I plan to attend a film school or be a part of a film program, from which I hope to be able to secure a Production Design job in the future. Ultimately I would like to be a concept artist as well as a prop master for film and television, that's why you may see quite a few character design sheets in my gallery. There's not much else to say...I hope you enjoyed this short bio!

So I FINALLY finished another piece of my halo armor after much procrastination and [internal] mental breakdowns. It looks ok I guess but my brain hurts from 3 strait days of cutting and pasting tiny bits of paper together. Not to mention the date I want to be done by know seems like a date for my impending doom. I'm going to comic con this year and I want to have my armor done by then also I want to somewhat make a custom under suit, but this now seems like an impossible task put in place by my inner desires only to feel disappointment and regret when I don't make my deadline... I've come to the point in my life when the college experience is actually in view. At some points its seems a light at the end of the of this very dark tunnel I call high school. But then I have the sudden realization that in order to get there I have to do these crazy tasks, like taking multiple SATs, submitting time consuming college apps and trying to prove myself worthy of the universities that i dream of being a part of. I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere on a college application, maybe in the fine print, it says I'm required to slay a dragon, because that's how impossible this feels.
